I first came across Rebecca's lovely shop in 2018 after me and my family bought a static caravan in the lakes. I wanted a cushion and asked Rebecca if she could make one in the fabric colour of my choice which she did. Since then I've been a regular, visiting whenever staying at the caravan. Rebecca's artwork is amazing, I love that her work is also on fabric & ceramics. The shop is lovely, has a nice feel to it and Rebecca is very welcoming and always has time for a chat. My partner is also a big fan of Rebecca and she did four big cat commissions for him that he had chosen. The way she worked with us to get them exactly as he wanted was so great! They turned out spectacularly, better than I could have imagined! I am also lucky enough to have an original drawing in my collection, the wolf! To say I was overwhelmed with emotion when getting this piece is an understatement. There’s a reason she is my favourite Artist, her Art speaks for itself! "We lost our Tilly in July. We felt that we wanted something to remember her by and commissioned Rebecca to draw her in graphite. We can honestly say that Rebecca has captured Tilly’s loving nature beautifully, the detail is amazing. In addition, it is clear that Rebecca loves her work, for example spending as much time as needed trawling through photographs finding the perfect one from which to base her artistic talent. She also sends pictures as she progresses her work, which is an added touch, but was very welcome. "We bought The Pig Cafe/Bar and Restaurant in Windermere in April 2021 and needed a Pig drawing for our signage, logo and marketing etc. We instantly thought of asking Rebecca Cropper as we had seen her work whilst walking past her shop many times in Bowness on Windermere. We gave Rebecca an image of a Pig that we liked and left the rest to her. She kept us constantly updated with images so that we could approve what we saw which was a great way to work. However we didn’t need to change anything and we loved the end result. To see the finished product first hand then feel free to pop in and see the picture displayed on our wall and you can also see it used many times on our website.

"This is probably one of my favourite shops....even though I've only visited twice while on holiday in the Lakes. As soon as I stepped inside....it felt like I was in a magical fairytale, a chocolate box assortment and a cosy blanket.... all rolled into one! During my visits I've bought some lovely presents and even ordered some for special people online. The service has always been fantastic and proffesional, but at the same time personal too. This year we wanted to get a portrait of our rescue cat Bessie, to celebrate having her in our care for over 10 years and couldn't think of anyone I'd rather use. Rebecca has kept us up to date throughout the process and we feel that she really cares about the subject, as well as us the owners.
